How Geography Affects History Presentation

The Geography and Planning and History and Social Studies Education departments present "How Western New York's Unique Geography Influenced its History" by John W. Percy, Thursday, April 28, 12:15-1:30 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center South 2 (upstairs).

This presentation is open to all faculty, staff, and students. Students in the social studies and elementary education programs are especially encouraged to attend.

Percy is a retired social studies teacher with experience teaching in K-12 schools and college . His lifelong interest in geography and many years of research have resulted in a new publication, Buffalo-Niagara Connections: A New Regional History of the Niagara Link. Refreshments will be served.
