This weekend marks the close of "Heat Waves in a Swamp: The Paintings of Charles Burchfield" at the Burchfield Penney Art Center. The nationally-celebrated exhibition, curated by artist Robert Gober, is the first retrospective of Burchfield's work in more than two decades.
