Grant-Funding Workshop - 'Ready, Set, Write': February 14-March 21

Please join us for a five-week grant-writing workshop series, “Ready, Set, Write,” February 14–March 21. Participants will learn how to improve their chances of getting funded through solid planning and organization, smart writing, and collaboration. This opportunity is designed for startup grant writers and grant seekers across the disciplines to begin exploring what it takes to get a proposal developed and submitted for external funding.

Participants will

  • read How to Say It: Grantwriting; Write Proposals That Grantmakers Want to Fund, by Deborah S. Koch (copies provided by the Teaching and Learning Center);
  • post to online discussions;
  • participate in live meetings (via Zoom) from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. on February 22, March 1, and March 8.

To achieve a completion certificate, you must participate in online discussions and live virtual meetings.

If you’re interested in participating, please complete the following short application. Please contact John Draeger, professor of philosophy and director of the Teaching and Learning Center, with questions.
