Free Access to WSJ, NYT, and Chronicle

Butler Library is pleased to provide free access to the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and the Chronicle of Higher Education for Buffalo State faculty, staff, and students. Through campuswide subscriptions, students, faculty, and staff now have access to the top sources in international, national, financial, and higher education news. See details below on how to sign up using your Buffalo State e-mail to access these newspapers anytime and anywhere.

Wall Street Journal
To claim your pass, visit library.buffalostate.edu/wsj and create a free WSJ.com account using your Buffalo State e-mail address. Check your e-mail inbox and open your confirmation message (e-mail verifications will come from Dow Jones [support@email.dowjones.com], then click on the link to validate your e-mail address.

Chronicle of Higher Education
If you’re on campus, simply go to Chronicle.com for complete access.

If you’re off campus, go to Chronicle.com and click on the “Log In” link at top right side of the web page (on mobile devices, scroll to the bottom of the page). Choose the “Create an account now” option. Enter and confirm your campus e-mail address, then follow the steps on the account setup pages.

New York Times
To claim your pass, visit nytimes.com/passes and create a free NYTimes.com account using your Buffalo State e-mail address. Check your e-mail inbox and open your confirmation message, then click on the link to validate your e-mail address.
