Flu Facts and Practical Advice

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identified specific ways that people can best protect themselves and others from the spread of influenza. The most effective measures, other than getting a flu shot, are routine hand washing and ‘social distancing.’ While social distancing is often impractical as we all must share time with others at work or school, the cornerstone of prevention is effective hand washing.
