FITT Academy Presentation: 'Literacy Assessment and Evaluation for the 21st Century' - April 12

Please join us for the final presentation of the Fostering Innovation in Teaching with Technology (FITT) Spring Symposium, "Literacy Assessment and Evaluation for the 21st Century," presented by Keli Garas-York, associate professor of elementary education and reading, on Thursday, April 12, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Technology Building 160.

Working with children is a main component of the literacy specialist program at Buffalo State. Literacy specialist candidates need a secure and simple way to view, upload, reflect on, and receive feedback on videos of their work with children. This project was designed to embed videos in course modules for instruction as well as create a secure means by which literacy specialist candidates could upload videos in Blackboard for reflection and feedback.

The FITT Spring Symposium, a signature event of the Fostering Innovation in Teaching with Technology (FITT) Academy, is a series of final presentations given by the academy's group of faculty participants throughout the month of April.

All presentations are open to faculty, staff, students, and guests.
