Federal Hiring Program for Students with Disabilities

The U.S. Department of Labor's Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) will be holding student interviews at Buffalo State on Monday, February 11. This program is designed to give students with disabilities greater access to summer work experience and full-time employment with both government agencies and private sector organizations. Students who participated in previous years' programs have worked with such agencies as the FBI, the Department of the Navy, University of New Mexico, and the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge. WRP is sponsored by the Career Development Center in conjunction with the Disability Services Office. Students must pre-register for interviews; complete information is available on the CDC's WRP Web site. For more details, contact the Career Development Center, ext. 5811, or the Disability Services for Students Office, ext. 4500. Please share this information with students.
