Want to learn more about how to effectively mentor undergraduates conducting research, scholarly and creative activities? Plan to attend a workshop sponsored by the Buffalo State Office of Undergraduate Research.
Workshop date: Friday, March 10,2006
Location: Twin Rise Room 201
Time: 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
During the workshop you'll learn about practical tips and elements of mentoring and hear faculty describe their experiences mentoring students in natural, social and applied sciences, arts and humanities and other disciplines. You can also join in the dialog during the informal question and discussion session. The workshop is designed for participants to attend all, or part, of the session. Handouts and resources on mentoring will be available for all participants. Light refreshments will be provided. Don't miss out!
