'Expediting Change: Maximizing Positivity and Productivity in Organizations and Teams': April 5

The campus community is invited to hear Shomari James, ’01, deliver the talk “Expediting Change: Maximizing Positivity and Productivity in Organizations and Teams” on Tuesday, April 5, from 12:30 to 1:20 p.m. in the LoRusso Alumni and Visitor Center. A question-and-answer session will follow.

Mr. James, who was the keynote speaker at First-Year Convocation last fall, is the executive director of strategy deployment and business transformation at Howard University, a six sigma-certified professional, and co-founder and CEO of Equity Now Inc. and Legends Charter School. He studied industrial engineering and co-founded the Buffalo State chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).

The event will includes complimentary refreshments and is sponsored by the Technology Department and the Buffalo State chapter of NSBE. 

Registration is encouraged because of space considerations.
