Exhibition: 'Madness in America: A History of Mental Health' - Butler Library October 1-24

The exhibition Madness in America: A History of Mental Health, by the Museum of disABILITY History, will be on display in the Circulation Gallery of Butler Library from October 1 to 24. This seven-panel overview of the history of mental health in the United States features the development and expansion of mental institutions, changes in medical care and treatment, and contributions by individuals who were recipients of mental health services.

The exhibition is sponsored by the Equity and Campus Diversity Office in recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month and Mental Illness Awareness Week, the first full week of October.
