The Educational Opportunity Program extends its gratitude and deep appreciation to United University Professions (UUP) for its significant role in galvanizing faculty, staff, and students in support of EOP. EOP's 2015–2016 funding will be increased by $5.7 million (including $1.3 million in restoration of the reduction applied in the governor’s budget). Many thanks to Rick Stempniak, president of the Buffalo State chapter, and all who played a role in the success of our advocacy effort. There has not been an increase of this magnitude since the 1970s. Since 1967, EOP has continued to shine, producing solid, intelligent, and powerful SUNY graduates.
