Douglas Fisher, Ph.D. to Speak on Formative Assessments

Douglas Fisher, Ph.D., a widely published author from San Diego State University, will speak about formative assessments, Monday, May 2, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Campus West School auditorium (on the Buffalo State Campus). The title of his presentation is "Feed Forward: Taking Action on Formative Assessments." There is no charge for this event. Please feel free to bring your classes, advertise to students, educators, or any other interested parties. Light refreshments will be served. All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.

Faculty are invited to join Fisher for an intimate discussion on formative assessments—how we can use them and teach about them in teacher education courses—Tuesday, May 3, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Bacon Hall 116 (basement). Please join us!
