Domestic Violence Survivor Talks about Being a "Victim Turned Victor"

As part of Buffalo State’s Domestic Violence Awareness programs, Suzanne Perry will tell her story of being isolated from family and friends and plucked from society at the tender age of 17, subjected to a 22-year virtual prison term as a victim of domestic violence. She describes her journey from being controlled to taking control, from being a punching bag to being a business owner.
