The following has been received in the College Senate Office and forwarded to the College Senate Curriculum Committee for fall 2013 review and approval:
New Course:
CTE 380 Teaching Fashion Merchandising for CTE/FACS. Introduction to teaching the business of fashion merchandising. Fashion aspects include introduction to the fashion environment; elements of fashion; cycle and trends; and the marketing of fashion, fashion careers, and job market. Implementation of fashion content includes lesson plans, presentation of material, development of a hands-on activity, and development of evaluation.
