The following have been received in the College Senate Office and forwarded to the College Senate Curriculum Committee for spring 2021 review:

New Course:
HEA 730 Data Visualization and Storytelling. Prerequisites: Graduate standing, HEA 725, instructor permission. Fundamentals of effective data-driven storytelling; how to analyze data, detect stories within datasets, and communicate findings in oral, written, and interactive visual delivery modes. Offered every semester, beginning fall 2021.

Course Revision:
NFS 200 Applied Food Principles. Prerequisites: NFS 100, NFS 102, and CHE 112; recommended: NFS 321. Examination of food and ways it is modified based on food trends. Includes recipe analysis using computer software, adaptation of recipes for consistency with common food modifications, and completion of a market survey. Lab activities include preparation of recipe variations with sensory evaluations and chemical analysis. Offered spring semester, beginning spring 2022.
