Please note that Buffalo State’s practice concerning cultivation travel expenses from state-appropriated funding has recently changed. If a Buffalo State employee travels for the purpose of cultivation of potential or current Buffalo State donors for fundraising purposes, is specific to the employee’s job function, and is attested to and approved by a supervisor as necessary and beneficial to Buffalo State, it will be considered allowable as an official business purpose.

These changes apply only to the actual travel of the campus employee. All other travel-related policies outlined on the Travel Services website are still applicable.

Reasonableness and compliance with travel policies will be reviewed and verified by the Travel Services Office.
