Course Input Sessions for 2013 January Term and Spring Semester

The Banner input window for departments to enter their master schedules for 2013 January Term and spring semester opened on Monday, July 2.

New item: Most departments no longer need to cross-list sections or create "shadow" or multiple sections to account for restrictions. We will begin using the Reserve Seats tabs (under Section Enrollment Information), effective with this input window. The Reserve Seats tab will be used for Major, Class, and Student Attribute reservations. Also, you will now be able to use one CRN for an open quota + reservation(s).

Master schedule instructions were e-mailed on June 25. This information is also available on the Banner Faculty and Staff website, including instructions on how and when to use the Reserve Seats tab form in Banner.

Course drop-in sessions will be held from 9:00 a.m. to noon in Bulger Communication Center 104 on the following dates: July 18, July 25, August 2, August 7, and August 8. You do not need to register for these sessions and can attend as many sessions as you would like. A staff member from the Registrar's Office will be available to assist you with your data entry and any basic questions you may have. Please note that these sessions are not training sessions. Be sure to bring all paperwork with you as handouts or reference materials will not be provided. These sessions are "hands-on" in which you will be entering your course information, changes, or updates directly into Banner-PROD.

Course input training for new secretaries or anyone responsible for entering courses in Banner will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon in Bulger Communication Center 104 on July 12 and July 16. These two sessions will be facilitated by a staff member from the Registrar's Office. Reservations are required. Seating is limited to 10 people per session. Please e-mail Cynthia Fasla your contact information and which session you will be attending. You will receive a confirmation e-mail.

Course input training on using the Reserve Seats tab form in Banner will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in Bulger Communication Center on the following dates: July 19, July 23, and August 1. Each session will be facilitated by a staff member from the Registrar's Office. Each session will be the same, but you can attend more than one if you need to. Reservations are not required. Seating is limited to 10 people per session.
