Gasland, a film by Josh Fox, will make its Buffalo debut at Buffalo State College on Saturday, October 30, at 7:00 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center East. Hailed by Variety as “one of the most effective and expressive environmental films of recent years,” Gasland chronicles the natural-gas drilling boom that has swept across the United States in recent years as the Halliburton-developed drilling technology of “fracking” has unlocked a “Saudi Arabia of natural gas” beneath us.
