Effective August 1, 2011, it will be a requirement to submit demographic information (such as date of birth, gender, race, ethnicity, etc.) to the Payroll Department for students participating in the college work-study and student assistant employment programs.

Hiring authorities (departments) must complete and submit the HRMS-2 Personal Data Collection form to the Payroll Department for each new hire/rehire student assistant and college work-study employee along with the student's employment authorization form, the I-9 Employment Eligibility form, and tax forms.

In addition, for all existing students (as of August 1, 2011) departments should complete and submit an HRMS - 2 form to the Payroll Department. The HRMS - 2 form is available through the Buffalo State Human Resource Management website.
