College Senate Survey on PIN Pilot Program

From the Chair of the College Senate
A survey on the PIN Pilot Program will be available to all campus constituents through Friday, April 30. The survey is designed to gather information regarding (a) experience and satisfaction in use/non-use of the advisement PIN to enforce advisement of target groups, and (b) opinions as to whether or not the option for academic departments to use the PIN for target groups should remain voluntary. The survey is available to all campus members, including students, athttp://buffalostate.edu/banner.

Next week, two open forums on the topic will be held: Tuesday, May 4, during Bengal Pause (12:15–1:30 p.m.) and Wednesday, May 5, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., both in Cleveland Hall 205. A report summarizing the results of the survey will be shared at the forums, and PIN usage will be discussed. Please participate in this process. The College Senate and Information Services and Systems are co-sponsoring the survey and the open forums.
