Following the resignation of Senator Julian Cole, the vacated at-large Senate seat must be filled through an election, as there is more than one year remaining in the term. Because of the holiday week, the election will now run from 12:01 a.m. Monday, November 27, to 11:59 p.m. Friday, December 1.
