College Senate Caucus

From the Chair of the College Senate
The College Senate will conduct its annual caucus on Friday, May 10, at 12:30 p.m. in E. H. Butler Library 210, the same room in which the College Senate regularly meets. During the caucus, Senate leadership for 2013–2014 will be elected. This includes the Senate chair, vice chair, and standing committee chairs (Academic Plan, Budget and Staff Allocations, Bylaws and Elections, Curriculum, Faculty and Staff Welfare, Instruction and Research, Standards for Students, and Student Welfare committees).

Following the caucus, all newly elected senators are invited to stay to be introduced during the regular Senate meeting, as well as to see how Senate meetings are conducted. It is possible that some agenda items could carry over into next year. Incoming student senators are encouraged to participate in the caucus and observe the meeting as well.
