Survey of Campus Needs: E-signature and Automated Document Workflow

The Project Management Office, in partnership with Finance and Management, is beginning an assessment of campus needs surrounding electronic signature (e-signature) and document workflow.

E-signature software leverages an audit trail to demonstrate the validity and legality of a signed document. It is equivalent to a wet signature. The software also incorporates document workflow and automated tracking of documents in process.

College employees move paper through many processes that require approval and signature. Administrative and academic personnel spend much time trying to track documents in a manual workflow as they circulate for signature. The purpose of this survey is to determine whether and how the campus will benefit from such a solution.  

Anyone who circulates documents for signature, whether academic, business, research, or other, is asked to please take this survey. The survey deadline is Friday, January 22.
