Child Care Center Playground Rehab Fundraiser: Please Help Us Reach Our Goal

The Buffalo State College Child Care Center, located in Buckham Hall, is just several hundred dollars shy of its capital campaign goal for the playground rehabilitation project. The center’s playground has not been refurbished in more than a decade and is in crucial need of both cosmetic and safety upgrades.

An invaluable resource for the students and employees of Buffalo State, the Child Care Center provides high-quality care for 80 enrolled children between 6 weeks and 5 years of age. The center’s dedicated teachers—more than 75 percent of whom are Buffalo State alumni—help foster a love of learning in an educationally rich environment that supports the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of the children they serve.

The importance of play to the development of young children is well documented, and outdoor gross-motor play is especially vital. Please help the center continue to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children of Buffalo State by reaching its fundraising goal. You may make a gift in any amount through the secure online form or mail your check, payable to the Buffalo State Child Care Center, through campus mail to Buckham Hall C102. Many thanks to those who have already donated!
