In order to establish a standard for the display of departmental distribution lists in the Global Address listings and avoid confusion within the Exchange system, Computing and Technology Services has changed the way in which distribution lists are displayed. Academic departments will be listed as “Dept of” followed by the department name (e.g., Dept of Chemistry). Distribution lists for administrative offices display as “Office of” followed by the office name (e.g., Office of Admissions). Changes to all existing department and office distribution lists have been completed. All lists created in the future will follow this new naming convention.
