Campus Lecture: 'Njoya's Alphabet: The Sultan of Bamum and French Colonial Reactions to the A-ka-u-ku Script'

The campus community is invited to the lecture "Njoya’s Alphabet: The Sultan of Bamum and French Colonial Reactions to the A-ka-u-ku Script," by Ken Orosz, associate professor of history and social studies education, on Thursday, February 27, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center West. All are welcome at this discussion of the ramifications of colonization in what is now present day Cameroon. The event is sponsored by the African and African American studies program in honor of Black History Month.

Pizza and drinks will be provided.
