C. J. Pascoe, assistant professor of sociology at Colorado College, will present "Bullied: Youth, Masculinity, and Homophobia" on Monday, March 5, at 4:00 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center North. Pascoe is the author of Dude, You're a Fag: Masculinity and Sexuality in High School, winner of the American Education Research Association's 2008 Outstanding Book Award. She has received national recognition for her research on the ways that views of gender and sexuality can contribute to bullying.

The talk is free and open to all members of the campus community. A reception will follow. Please join us to learn more about this timely and important issue.

This event is presented by the women and gender studies program as part of its Women's History Month program and is cosponsored by the Grant Allocation Committee, the Faculty-Student Association, Intellectual Foundations, the School of Education, and the School of Natural and Social Sciences.
