Call for Nominations: 'Caught Doing Your Part' Student Award

All members of the campus community (students, faculty, and staff) are invited to nominate students who exemplify the tenets of the “Civil and Caring Academic Community” and the “Do Your Part Campaign.” This new award was created to recognize students each month for their activities and behavior that provide and promote outstanding engagement with peers as well as the greater Buffalo State community. Our goal is to recognize and highlight those students who make Buffalo State a better place, one action at a time. All enrolled students in good academic and judicial standing are eligible.

Nominations will be accepted throughout the semester, and winners will be chosen each month for recognition. Recipients will receive a certificate and have their photo taken with the dean of students, which will appear in the Record. A celebration for all recipients will be held at the end of the academic year. More information and nomination forms can be found here and submitted online or to the Dean of Students Office, Campbell Student Union 311. Please contact Joshua Rich or Paula Madrigal or call ext. 3051 with questions.

This award is sponsored by the Faculty-Student Association, the Judicial Affairs Office, the Weigel Health Center Promotion department, and the Dean of Students Office.
