The Undergraduate Research Office supports a variety of programs aimed at increasing the number of Buffalo State undergraduates conducting research. A flier summarizing all programs offered during the current academic year can be found at http://undergraduateresearch.buffalostate.edu. The website for the office has been redesigned, and the new look makes it easier to locate information about programs, deadlines, and resources for faculty mentors.

The deadline for the fall round of the Small Grants Program is approaching. This program provides up to $400 to assist students in carrying out their research and creative activities; up to $600 may be requested for single projects involving two or more students. The award is designed to help defray the cost of travel, supplies, and other materials necessary to conduct the project. It is not intended as salary for the student.
