Buffalo State Talks: 'Upcycling and Sustainability in Apparel' - October 27

Please join the Fashion and Textile Technology Department and the Alumni Engagement Office for the talk “Upcycling and Sustainability in Apparel,” with sustainability expert Colleen Coughlin, ’06, on Thursday, October 27, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the LoRusso Alumni and Visitor Center. This event is part of the Buffalo State Talks Lecture Series.

Coughlin is the owner of The Full Edit, a zero-waste lifestyle agency that helps people organize their homes and upcycle their textile and plastic waste. She earned a dual degree in fashion technology from Buffalo State and textile and surface design from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City. She also possesses a professional certificate in sustainable design entrepreneurship from FIT.
