Buffalo State Dining's Balanced U program is a holistic approach to food and nutrition. It’s based on one concept—we eat food. To help students, faculty, and staff understand how food plays into health, Balanced U consists of monthly subjects that act as an educational opportunity to focus on food topics of interest to our customers. March's monthly subject is Metabolism Boosters.
While no miracle food exists, some choices can help you trim your waistline. The Grapefruit Diet, the Zone Diet, the Green Tea Diet—lots of research has been done in search of that one food or combination of foods that will send your metabolism soaring and melt away the pounds. Unfortunately, no such food exists. Overall, you still need to consume fewer calories and burn more calories with exercise. But there are some foods that can give you a little more boost!
Buffalo State Dining invites you to Bengal Hall, located in the Campbell Student Union, today from noon to 2:00 p.m. for our Balanced U Metabolism Boosters gathering. Try foods from our Balanced U station that are guaranteed to help boost your metabolism! Plus, receive recipes and tips from our dietitian on how to eat healthy all year long.
Enter with a meal swipe or lunch door price of $8.39.
