Save the date! The 2012 Bengal 5K Scholarship Run will be held on Saturday, March 31. Net proceeds benefit the Legacy Scholarship Fund and Armed Services Scholarship.

Schedule
Race day registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and closes promptly at 9:00 a.m. We strongly encourage you to register online in advance to avoid race day registration lines. Shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. in front of the Buffalo State Sports Arena. Teams and walkers are welcome!

Pricing
$18 for students
$18 per person for teams of five
$20 general pricing

Registration fee for all participants, including students, is $25 after Wednesday, March 28. Registration closes on Friday, March 31, at 9:00 a.m.

FUNdraising
The Legacy Scholarship Fund secures educational funding for lineal descendants of Buffalo State alumni. The Alumni Association is committed to supporting students' academic and social achievements and rewarding deserving students who demonstrate the core values of this institution. The Military Service Scholarship provides funding for student-veterans at Buffalo State.

Are you unable to run this year? There are still ways to take part. Walkers are welcome! Volunteer or contribute to the scholarship of your choice. Whatever your choice, you will make a difference in the long-standing tradition of quality education at Buffalo State.

Parking
Complimentary parking will be available on the Buffalo State campus in Lots M-1 and M-2. Shuttle service from parking lots to the Buffalo State Sports Arena will also be available.

Race Results
Same-day results will be posted during the post-race party and available online at http://score-this.com/events.html.

Post-Race Party
After you cross the finish line, cool down (or warm up) and enjoy the atmosphere at our well-known post-race party and awards ceremony. Refreshments from Flying Bison Brewing Company and music from Buffalo State's very own WBNY radio station. The post-race party is free for all race participants and $5 per person for nonparticipants.

Volunteer Opportunities
This event isn't a success without support from volunteers! The Bengal 5K Scholarship Run provides multiple volunteer opportunities for campus groups and students leading up to the event.
