The Burchfield Penney Art Center will host the workshop "Bread and Water: Watercolor Painting at BreadHive" on Saturday, November 5, from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. at BreadHive, 402 Connecticut Street in Buffalo.
On a fall Saturday afternoon, participants will sample fresh bread from BreadHives new location and watercolor still lifes made from the daily loaves. Bring not only your watercolor supplies but also a frame that will fit your new painting. Several watercolors will be installed at BreadHive. BreadHive's mission is "Good bread, good work."
Bring watercolor supplies: paint, water container, paper towels, paper, brushes, and a frame to fit your new watercolor painting. Limited to 12 participants.
This event is part of the International Center for Watercolor. The cost is $35 for Burchfield Penney members and Buffalo State faculty, staff, and students; and $45 for not-yet members.
To register, please contact Kathy Gaye Shiroki, curator of museum learning and community engagement, 878-3549.
