Please join the Biology Department and the Great Lakes Center for the seminar "Horizontal Gene Transfer in Eukaryotes," presented by Olga Novikova, Ph.D., assistant professor of biology at Buffalo State College, on Monday, October 18, from 3:00 to 4:15 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center 422. Dr. Novikova will present an overview of the instances of the horizontal transfer of the genetic material in eukaryotes with emphasis on its role in evolution. All students, staff, and faculty are welcome.
