In celebration of the 100th birthday of 20th century "big thinker" Ernst Mayr, the Biology and Chemistry departments are sponsoring a lecture Thursday, Nov. 18, on genetic evolution by Harvard University biologist Meredith Esther Protas.
Protas will discuss Mayr's work and then describe her own studies with evolution in blind cavefish. The lecture will be during Bengal Pause in Room 213 of the Science Building.
