The campus community is invited to attend a presentation by Indiana University’s Thomas Nelson Laird, a nationally respected expert on higher education student engagement and assessment, on Thursday, March 8, from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center S2. The event is co-sponsored by Academic Affairs and the School of the Professions.

Laird, who has worked on the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) since 2003, will speak on the state of higher education today, sharing information on tools designed to measure student learning and experiences, and on some new organizations that are addressing these topics at a national level. Our hope is that Laird will provide insight on ways that Buffalo State can remain on the forefront of these important issues.
