EOP celebrates the exemplary academic performance of its outstanding students at the annual Honors Convocation in Rockwell Hall Auditorium, Thursday, May 5, at 3:30 p.m. This year's theme is "Imagine, Believe, Achieve: Striving Toward Excellence.” The program will start with a DVD presentation of testimonials of graduating seniors about their experiences with Buffalo State and EOP. Highlights of the program include the presentation of special awards to students, staff, and faculty.

A Distinguished Alumnus Award will be presented to Robert Baxter, '94, '03. Baxter was the recipient of the  prestigious 2010 Milken National Educator Award. Recognition will be given to students who have obtained a 3.0 semester and/or cumulative GPA during the 2010 calendar year. A book signing will be held by EOP student Christina Foster for Restoration: In the Words of a True Lyricist. A 50/50 raffle will be held to support the Japanese International Relief Fund along with other activities.  The campus community is invited to attend the program and catered reception to follow.
