The Newman Center, Catholic Campus Ministry, invites all faculty, staff, administration, and students to join us as we formally open the academic year on Sunday, September 18, at 10:30 a.m. in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall. We will be honoring Dennis K. Ponton, provost and vice president for academic affairs, with the annual Newman Award and Sister Charlene Fontana, SSJ, with the Campus Ministry Service Award. Faculty and staff are invited to march in the academic procession. Academic garb is encouraged. Meet in the Fireside Lounge no later than 10:00 a.m. A light reception will follow.
