The campus community is invited to join the Anne Frank Project (AFP) in celebrating Women's History Month today, March 24, at 5:30 p.m. in Campbell Student Union 400H (AFP Student Lounge). "Ain't I a Woman?" lifts up the voices of the legendary Sojourner Truth and the awe-inspiring Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Through an immersive staged reading of some of their most famous speeches, we will explore the perseverance of women throughout history. All are invited to enjoy an evening of refreshments and powerful connections.
The Anne Frank Project uses the power of stories as a vehicle for community building, conflict management, and identity exploration. Inspired by the wisdom of Anne Frank, AFP surfaces, develops, and shares stories that have been stifled by oppression.
