The Volunteer and Service-Learning Centers Alternative Break student leadership team is hosting its third annual spring fundraiser. Our student leaders are fundraising to provide monetary support for students who would otherwise not be able to participate in an alternative break trip experience as a Buffalo State student.
The student leadership team is selling locally grown organic Genovese basil (sweet basil), cinnamon basil, sage, thyme, oregano, marigold, hyssop, borage, and hollyhock seedlings to bring beauty, bees, butterflies, and bounty to your yard and garden this summer. Seedlings will arrive with planting and care instructions, as well as environmental information. A variety of seedling combinations can be ordered to meet your needs: one for $3 or two for $5.
New this year, student leaders will also be selling Desserts in a Mason Jar, a festive and creative gift that provides the dry goods needed to bake delicious chocolate cake, yellow cake, quick bread, or brownies. Choose your amount and select which baked good(s) youd like to order. Baking instructions, as well as suggested ingredients for variations on each of the desserts, will be included. For $8, Desserts in a Mason Jar make great gifts for Mothers Day or your childs teacher.
You may have your seedling or desserts order delivered to your office or you may pick it up on Monday, May 1, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Please submit your order by Friday, April 21.
Please direct any questions regarding the spring fundraiser to buffalostateab@gmail.com. The Alternative Break student leadership team thanks you for your support.
