Join Buffalo State's Allen Shelton, artist Bob Hirsch, and sociologists from the United States and Canada to discuss Hirsch's work World in a Jar, on view in the East Gallery of the Burchfield Penney. In addition to Shelton and Hirsch, panelists include Karen Engle, assistant professor, Social Theory at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Windsor, Canada; Graeme Gilloch, reader in sociology at Lancaster University, UK; and Petra Rethmann, an anthropologist who teaches at McMaster University, Canada.
