The Frances Tyau Scholarship Fund was established in 1978 when Professor Frances Tyau donated $1,000 in honor of her father's 91st birthday. Since then, over $50,000 has been donated to the endowed scholarship, and the majority of these gifts were under $100. In fact, many of the gifts have been under $5.
