Africana Studies: 'Beyond the Classroom' - April 8, 22; May 6

What is Black love and how do we achieve it? What would it mean for Black people to be truly free, and how can this freedom be accomplished? Please join Africana studies faculty members in a "beyond the classroom" discussion series on April 8, April 22, and May 6 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Students of all backgrounds and majors are welcome.

Some of the most important lessons in life happen beyond the classroom. We will hold three discussions that are about you—you pick the topics; you lead discussion; and you speak on the issues that matter most to your lives. Speak about what you want. Speak how you want. These are safe spaces that may transform your lives for the better—periot! All meetings are on Thursdays, and will use the recurring Zoom link below. Please spread the word.
