Admissions Office to Host Spring Break Class Visit April 3-5

The Admissions Office will host its encore edition of the Class Visit Program in the Campbell Student Union Assembly Hall on April 3–5. The three-day program, which is also hosted in February during Presidents Week, is an invitation-only event for high school seniors who have been accepted to Buffalo State.

The program allows students to observe actual classes alongside current Buffalo State students. While students are in class, their parents are able to participate in a Q&A panel discussion, where they can pose questions to representatives from Financial Aid, Residence Life, the Career Development Center, University College, and University Police. Afterward, students and parents tour Buffalo State. Programming starts at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, and 8:25 a.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, select students will observe the Honors 400 Colloquium at 3:05 p.m., under the auspices of Andrea Guiati, director of the All College Honors Program. Afterward, these students and their parents will visit the honors lounge in North Wing.

On Friday, we will host Buffalo State distinguished alumna the Honorable E. Jeannette Ogden, Buffalo City Court judge. Ogden will address students and parents around the theme "Because of Buffalo State." Her brief address will begin at 8:35 a.m.

Door prizes will be raffled off for lucky winners.

This program is sponsored by the Admissions Office and supported by the Barnes & Noble at Buffalo State Bookstore, the College Relations Office, and the Alumni Affairs Office. Special thanks to the Buffalo State teaching faculty for allowing students to visit, the Student Life Office, Campus Dining, Campus Services, and Events Management.
