Zhang Jie, SUNY Distinguished Professor of Sociology and director of the Center for China Studies, and Dwight Hennessy, chair and professor of psychology, published their paper "Do Only-Children Communicate Better Than Non-Only Children? A Study of Medical Students in China" in the Journal of Comparative Family Studies 51 (1): 84–109. The paper's coauthors are Wei Wang and Wenqiang Yin. Ms. Wei Wang was a visiting scholar to Buffalo State College for the 2018–2019 academic year.
