Zhang Jie, professor of sociology and director of the Center for China Studies, and Sun Long, of the Shandong University School of Public Health in Jinan, China, published their paper "Medically Serious Suicide Attempters with or without Plan in Rural China" in the Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease 204 (11): 851–854. Dr. Sun was a visiting scholar at Buffalo State two years ago.
