Zhang Jie, professor of sociology and director of the Center for China Studies, published his paper "Psychological Strains and Suicide Intent: Results from a Psychological Autopsy Study with Chinese Rural Young Suicides," coauthored with Sun Long, Li Han, and Qiong Wu, in the International Journal of Social Psychiatry 61 (7): 677–683. Sun Long and Li Han were visiting scholars to Buffalo State over the past few years.
