Robert Wood, Professor, Design

Robert Wood, professor, Design, has put together a solo exhibition of recent clay, glass, and mixed-media sculptures that was originally exhibited at the Arthur Butcher Gallery at Concord University in Athens, West Virginia, October 11–November 9, 2007. In conjunction with the invitational exhibition, Wood presented an artist workshop and slide lecture on his work. The exhibition traveled to the Pierce Art Gallery at West Virginia University Institute of Technology, in Montgomery, West Virginia, November 12–December 1, where he also gave an artist slide lecture on his artwork. The exhibition was then picked up by the Sisson Art Gallery at Henry Ford Community College, in Dearborn, Michigan, January 14–March 10, where Wood will give an artist workshop this month. Other recent activities include an invitational outdoor sculpture installation in the Brodie Sculpture Garden at SUNY Geneseo. In February, Wood was co-juror for the 100 American Craftsmen exhibition that will take place at the Kenan Center in Lockport this summer.
