Amitra Wall, associate professor, Sociology, has been granted the title of Certified Sociological Practitioner by the Association for Applied and Clinical Sociology, making her a certified applied sociologist. Her approach to service activities (i.e., leading workshops, conducting research, serving on boards, and organizing events in the community) is recognized as being sociological in approach. National and international peers verified the soundness of her activities.
