Jamie Tabone, instructional designer in Instructional Design and Distance Learning and lecturer in the Art and Design Department, coauthored the chapter “Transitioning from an OPM: The Journey of Insourcing an Online Educational Unit after the Partnership Sunsets” in the book From Grassroots to the Highly Orchestrated: Online Leaders Share Their Stories of the Evolving Online Organizational Landscape in Higher Ed (July 2022, OLC Press). The book aims to illuminate the organizational structures and leadership strategies of online education units at higher education institutions through chief online officers’ first-person stories, practices, lessons, and innovations.
